  The Copenhagen / Kronborg bundle opens Monday August 17 at 10.00 CET and is open for 48 hours or until 400 slots are sold

  Price: €735 + 6% Active Fee

• Onsite registrationYou can sign up for KMD IRONMAN Copenhagen by showing up for the onsite registration at Rådhuspladsen (KMD IRONMAN Copenhagen expo) Monday August 24 from 8.00 – 11.00 CET

  Price: €500 + 6% Active Fee

Rolling start in start waves

Age groupers will start in waves as previously. The start in each group will be a rolling start with approximately two athletes crossing the start mat at a time.

Your time will start once you cross the start mat.

This new start procedure is part of IRONMAN’s global  to improve swim safety.

Seeding of age group start waves

The age group start waves are seeded with the fastest groups first and slowest last.

This will create a better flow of athletes on the courses to improve safety and race experience for athletes at all levels.

Cut off times has been changed to accomodate this change (see below)

Changes to cut-off time

Due to the changes in starting order and procedure the cut off time for the beginning of the second loop on the bike course has been changed.

Tranegårdsvej (start of second loop after 93km) from cut off time changes from 13.15 to 13.45

Awards, Slot allocation and on-site registration

Awards, Slot allocation and on-site registration for 2016 will be conducted at “Rådhuspladsen” in the same tent as registration and expo in the days leading up to KMD IRONMAN Copenhagen.

New for KMD IRONMAN Copenhagen 2015 you are now able to secure a spot in the first age group start wave. Regardsless of gender and age-group we are aiming to have the fastest 400 athletes in this group.

Like the previous years KMD IRONMAN Copenhagen will feature a wave start format based on age groups. This year we are designating the first age group start wave to athletes that are in the realm of breaking the 10.00 hour mark and faster.

The first age group start wave at KMD IRONMAN Copenhagen 2015 will have 400 starters.

Start of registration for the sub 10 hour age group start wave:
Tuesday July 14 2015 at 12.00 noon CET
